Everyone knows a geek. We — as fate would have it — are both married to one.
Although we’ve been geeks since a very young age, we didn’t truly reap the benefits of geekdom until later in life. It turns out that being a geek isn’t that cool when you’re growing up. Over time, however, we’ve met lots of smart and interesting people, played with neat gadgets, discovered life-changing technologies, and to top it all off: embarked on a great, geeky marriage.
We realize now that geek is the new cool. As we continue on our journey of exploring new technologies, gadgets, apps, and online tools, we want to share our knowledge and opinions with you. Why?
Well, if you’re not a geek, you could probably use some hints, tips & tricks, and just a clear lamens-terms explanation of what all the hype is about. There are so many websites, gadgets, and technologies that could make your life better if you just understood the “what”, “how”, and “why”. That’s where we can help.
If you’re already a Twitter celebrity, an SEO genius, a cloud computing guru, or a social media maven, then you might not necessarily need an explanation from us. That’s okay! We want to start a conversation around new technology and talk about why it actually matters to everyday folks. We are going to share lots of opinions and would love to get your feedback on whether or not you agree with us.
